FULL-DAY ART WORKSHOP WITH CLAIRE BOTTERILL

Come along and have fun trying Claire’s unique style of painting in ink, wax and watercolour. Paper, pens and wax crayons provided just bring your watercolours, brushes and your enthusiasm. There will be an initial exercise to introduce you to the technique step by step with an illustrated worksheet provided. “Fuzzy sheep” learn how to paint this image of Claire’s ready for the spring lamb season. This image is from Claire’s Farmyard collection of signed limited edition giclee prints. You are very welcome to bring your own subject to work from.

 “Rosy pink apples” Come along and have fun trying Claire’s unique style of painting in ink, wax and watercolour. Learn Claire’s tips, hints and techniques, come along, relax, explore, enjoy and achieve a beautiful painting. Paper, pens and wax crayons provided just bring your watercolours, brushes and your enthusiasm. There will be an initial exercise to introduce you to the technique step by step with an illustrated worksheet provided. Claire will guide you step by step drawing apples from life and getting the form and shine of the fruit. You are very welcome to bring your own subject to work from. Beginners and improvers are very welcome.

Held at the former Art Studio, New Century Way & Art Alert Gallery, Abbey Street, Nuneaton. Cost was £18. People came along and had fun trying Claire’s unique style of painting in ink, wax and watercolour. Paper, pens and wax crayons were provided - participants brought their watercolours, brushes and their enthusiasm. There was an initial exercise to introduce people to the technique step by step with an illustrated worksheet provided. They then had a go at a simplified version of Claire’s painting, or their own choice of subject.
